Madison houses the Agriscience Magnet Program for ninth- through twelfth-grade students interested in agribusiness careers. Located on 15 acres of the Madison campus, the AMP is one of the largest and most active agriculture programs in Texas. The program is complete with livestock project centers for more than 300 student projects, an aquaculture lab and pond, greenhouse and nursery operation, meat science laboratory and a mechanized laboratory. It currently offers three dual-credit courses for 12 college hours.
